Dues, Costs & Fees

Scouting should be accessible to every family that wants it and we work hard to make sure cost is never the reason a Scout misses out.

Annual dues cover Pack and national membership fees, den meeting supplies and activities, your Scout's Pack t-shirt, and administrative costs that keep the program running all year. We don't publish a fixed number here since dues are reviewed annually, but when you spread them across a full year of programming, the value compares favorably to after-school sports seasons that run just a quarter of the year.

Camp outs and special events carry separate activity fees, which we work hard to keep manageable. We also offer two Scout-led fundraising opportunities: Popcorn Sales and Camp Card Sales - these can significantly reduce or eliminate your out-of-pocket costs for the year.

If your family is navigating a tight budget, reach out to us. Scholarships are available, fundraising offsets are real, and we'll work with you to find the right path. The only thing that matters is that your Scout gets to be part of this.

Getting Involved

Pack 631 is completely parent-led and that's exactly what makes it work.

Every camp out, every Pinewood Derby, every badge earned, and every memory made has been built by parents just like you. Not professionals. Not paid staff. Parents who showed up, shared what they knew, and discovered they were capable of more than they expected.

You don't need a specific background or skill set. Our greatest strength is the diversity of our families; every parent brings something unique to the table. Whether you're organized, creative, outdoorsy, good with tools, or just show up reliably with a great attitude, there's a place for you here.

And here's something worth saying out loud: volunteering with Pack 631 is good for you too. Parents who take an active role build real friendships, develop leadership skills, and connect with a community of people who care about the same things they do.

Curious about getting involved? Come introduce yourself to one of our leaders at the next event, we'd love to meet you.
