Pack 631

Why Choose Pack 631?
Some kids dread another afternoon of homework and screens. Others are out there catching fish, racing handcrafted cars down a track they built themselves, and sleeping under stars at multiple camp outs throughout the year while the whole forest comes alive around them.
Those are the kids in Pack 631.
Since 1991, our pack has been turning ordinary days into memories that kids talk about for years. We're not a sit-still-and-listen program. We're a pack that believes kids grow best when they're challenged, outside, and fully alive in the moment.
Here's what a year in Pack 631 actually looks like:
Kicking off the school year at our Back to Pack celebration. Hiking local trails with their den. Pitching tents and sleeping under the stars at multiple camp outs across the year, each one its own adventure. Collecting food for neighbors in need during Scouting for Food. Racing a Pinewood Derby car they designed and built with their own hands. Fishing. Biking. Skating. Earning badges that represent skills they actually learned and challenges they actually conquered.
Every event brings something new. Every activity is designed to push kids just far enough outside their comfort zone that they surprise themselves.
But here's what parents notice most:
Their kids ask to go to den meetings. They come home energized and enriched, already asking what's next. That's not an accident, it's what happens when a program is built around adventure, belonging, and leaders who genuinely love what they do.
Scouting builds the skills that matter long after the badges are earned; confidence, leadership, resilience, and the knowledge that they can figure things out when things get hard. Pack 631 has been doing exactly that since 1991.
